GUEST RENTAL POLICY
Please read this document carefully, it contains details you need to know about your cabin rental.
Check-in times vary according to season but range between 2 – 4 pm. Please be courteous of our check-in time. An early arrival to the Watauga Lake area is great but please do not go to the cabin until check-in time. Our cleaning staff needs to get in and out as quickly as possible and the only way this can be done is if we stay out of their way. A car in the driveway may deter the cleaners from approaching cabin and delay your cabin from being cleaned. If you’d like an earlier check in please email with your request and we will accommodate you if at all possible.
Late arrivals: You are welcome to arrive as late as you might need to and go directly to your cabin. If a late arrival is expected you may want to carry a flash light with you – very hard to find in just the moonlight. Most, but not all cabins have a motion light that will come on.
Check out times vary according to season but range between 10 – 11 am. You can expect housekeeping to arrive on time. Charges will apply if check out times aren’t followed. You may request an early check in or a late check out. Email 48 hours in advance with your request and if other guests are not scheduled then we are happy to accommodate – There may be an extra fee. During the lean winter months this is a possibility however, summer and fall is our high season when we are back to back with guests and may not be possible.
Rental fees: A deposit is required to reserve dates. We offer convenient payment plans. Options can be discussed at the time of reservation.
Liability: *see Release & Waiver of Liability at end of this agreement that must be signed and dated. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. We also are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guest are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Refunds/Cancellations: If there are any uncertainties with your stay please purchase a vacation protection plan. We do not refund for any reason. CSA is an insurance carrier that provides this service. Call 800-349-8218 for more information and protect your vacation against the “what if’s”. In some cases guests are permitted to rebook dates for an additional fee.
Security/Damage Deposit: There is a refundable damage deposit for all cabins. This deposit will be refunded in full if there is no damage to the cabin.
